Gas ball valves are equipped with anti-static and fireproof devices and typically feature a spring-loaded static discharge mechanism. Sealing materials can include PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PPL, or metal seals. They can be configured with various actuation methods, such as manual, worm gear, pneumatic, or electric (explosion-proof), for remote automatic control. The full-bore design allows for virtually lossless flow of the medium, resulting in low fluid resistance.
Gas ball valves are primarily connected via threaded connections, flange connections, and welded connections.
Polyamide 12 (PA12) gas ball valves are suitable for low-pressure (1.8 MPa and below) gas transmission. PA12 material possesses high strength, high toughness, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and crack propagation resistance. This valve is suitable for trenchless construction methods such as horizontal directional drilling.
